Selsdon & Addington Village

Joseph and Robert work hard for the residents of Selsdon and Addington Village. They understand the issues local people face, and ensure they are represented in the Town Hall.

Joseph and Robert hold their surgery on the first Saturday of every month (excluding August) at The Selsdon Centre (next to Sainsbury's) on Addington Road from 10:00 to 11:15am.

Joseph has lived in Croydon with his wife Charlotte since 2014. He is managing director of a business which was set up in 2019. Joseph was elected as one of the two Councillors in his home ward of Selsdon and Addington Village in May 2022.

Robert moved with his family to Croydon in 2006. Originally from an engineering background he latterly specialised in projects to improve the safety, efficiency and quality of business services. He is an experienced decision analyst and a certified project manager.

Cllr. Andy Stranack and Cllr. Robert Ward joined with the library team at Selsdon Library this morning (19th May) to try out the new Open+ technology. The new technology allows members to access Selsdon library services between 10am – 6pm on Monday to Friday and 9am-5pm on Saturday.

Farley Road resurfacing - ongoing issues

Residents will be well aware of the issues with Farley Road near to the crossroads by Sainsbury's.

The Council was made aware of the defects that appeared soon after the resurfacing in Farley Road. These were as a result of an underground water leak.

Disruption to traffic on Kent Gateway

TfL have closed one lane of Kent Gate Way by the tram stop because of damage to the tram rail. They are currently waiting for a welding team to attend site to carry out the repair but the lane closure has to stay in place to ensure safety for motor bikes and cyclists.
