Andrew Price for Park Hill & Whitgift

I'm Andrew Price, and I'm proud to be your Local Conservative Councillor for Park Hill & Whitgift.

I have lived in Croydon my whole life, and I chose to make Park Hill my home 11 years ago.

I love the sense of community that exists in this part of Croydon - that’s why my wife and I have chosen to raise our two children here.

I am a criminal barrister, and am known for standing up for those I represent. Outside of work, I tend an allotment in Park Hill, as well as being a regular runner in the Lloyd Parkrun. I attend Croydon Redeemer Church at Archbishop Tenison’s, and I’m a proud Crystal Palace Season Ticket holder.

From 2006-2010, I served as a Councillor for the nearby Addiscombe ward, during which time I:

• Helped the development and opening of Addiscombe Railway Park,

• Established a Conservation Area to help prevent the overdevelopment of flats, and

• Represented residents at a major public inquiry to defeat a large inappropriate development.

I am working to continue the progress made by Conservative Mayor Jason Perry to fix Croydon’s finances, to change Labour’s planning policies, and to get Croydon Town Centre moving again.
