Simon, Samir and Holly are hard at work for you in Purley & Woodcote. We deal with about 40 casework items every month, ranging from missed bin collections and social services issues through to children's schooling and of course fighting for local people on planning issues.

We're making sure that Purley and Woodcote has very strong representation in the town hall.

One of my happiest and proudest days as a councillor was seeing Roke Open Space finally opened by Mayor Jason Perry, surrounded by councillors, the Cabinet Member for Streets and Environment, Council officers and representatives from Kompan (who make the play equipment), local residents associations

I was delighted to pop in to Infinity Coffee, which opened its doors on Purley High Street today. It was lovely to meet the team, Mani, Maz and Sami and welcome them to Purley.

Earlier this year, I launched a campaign, supported by my ward colleagues, Simon and Holly, and my Kenley colleagues, Gayle and Ola to get a new playground at Roke Open Space, which was decommissioned some years ago, and left in an increasingly derelict state.

922-930 Purley Way development update

Several residents have got in touch with me regarding 922-930 Purley Way, a development where no progress has been made for quite some time following the original contractor entering administration.

Accessing the Purley GP Hub

A few months ago, I needed to visit the Purley GP Hub. I rang NHS 111, but on ringing them I was unable to obtain an appointment at the Purley Hub and was re-directed to New Addington which is much further away from where I live.

Purley Masjid open day

On Saturday, I attended the Purley Masjid's open day, meeting Imam Suleiman and members of the congregation. They had an informative exhibition and it was helpful chatting to the Imam and others about the plans for the new Masjid on Whytecliffe Road South.
