failed rubbish colleciton

Over the last few weeks there have been many issues affecting collection of rubbish, recycling and food waste in the Park Hill Area.

The main areas affected have been Chichester Road, Chepstow, Engadine, St Barnards, Bardsley Close and others.

I've been really grateful for all the time residents have taken to keep me updated and report what's been missed.

Last week Veolia met residents on site, and following many emails to officers and Veolia we have been assured the service should improve now going forward.

I'm aware issues with food waste collection are still continuing in areas such as Steep Hill and will be continuing to press for this to be resolved also.

Please do get in touch if you are affected.

I attended the Sanderstead Recreation Ground Litter Pick with my ward colleague Cllr Helen Redfern.  We have seen a marked difference in the amount of litter dropped in the park which is good to note.
