Robert moved with his family to Croydon in 2006. Originally from an engineering background he latterly specialised in projects to improve the safety, efficiency and quality of business services. He is an experienced decision analyst and a certified project manager. His focus as a Councillor is to preserve and enhance the communities of Selsdon and Addington Village and to improve the quality and efficiency of services provided to Croydon's people by Croydon Council, especially children's services. He is on the governing board of The Quest Academy and Winterbourne Nursery and Infants school. TWO new playgrounds - Selsdon & Waddon

It was great to see happy local parents and children welcoming the two new playgrounds to Croydon which I opened this week. The Purley Way Playing Fields playground, near Croydon airport, has been given an aeroplane theme.

Selsdon councillors surgery is moving location

Selsdon councillors hold their surgery on the first Saturday of every month except January and August from 10.00 am to 11.15 am. For some time this has been at the Selsdon Centre for the Retired but as from next month this will be at the Jubilee cafe. The cafe is downstairs in the same building.

The council is consulting on a proposal for revised parking charges. There are a lot of different charges so the attached document is rather long but broadly the proposals would see shoppers benefit from one hour’s free parking at our district centres.

A great pleasure to be at the opening of the Men's Shed at St Francis church in Monks Hill. We had the company of both of our Mayor's who cut the tape to declare the men's shed open. Simultaneously there was the launch of cooking lessons.
