Today, the Labour Government has announced that the Minister is “minded” to send commissioners into Croydon.This would mean the Labour Government seizing key powers and giving them to unelected Labour commissioners who could override local democratic decisions - including forcing tax hikes

Tony Newman - under whose leadership Croydon Council went bankrupt - is allowed back into Croydon Labour after his suspension was reportedly lifted earlier this month.What's more, it has been revealed that their Mayoral candidate is a Newman campaigner and supporter.Croydon Labour haven’t changed.

I did a walk around in Norbury with Councillor Scott Roche to look at the good work being done by Litter Free Norbury and to see how the Council can support their efforts. On the way we admired Maggie's Garden on what was once a derelict piece of ground.
