The lovely Green Lane Sports Ground is one of the 31 parks and open spaces to have lost its protections under the Labour local plans.
This is a real cause for concern for residents – Green Lane Sports Ground is a great place for sports and for walking pets, as well as an important open place for children to play away from the streets. It also has stunning views of Norbury, Norwood and Crystal Palace.
I was shocked when I heard Labour had put it at risk of being concreted over, and if elected I will work tirelessly to keep it safe for future generations.
