Old Lodge Lane Baptist Church is gearing up for its third Jobs Fair on Wednesday, January 24th 2024, from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm. These events have become a beacon of opportunity, exceeding expectations by resulting in over 80 people securing job offers. The success of the fairs has not only transformed lives but has also prompted the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) to embrace this innovative model of hosting Jobs Fairs in the heart of local communities.

Old Lodge Lane Baptist Church Jobs Fairs go beyond the conventional job-seeking experience. They bring together employers, support services, training providers, and charities under one roof, offering full time, part time, voluntary roles, and services to support people into work.

The success of the previous Jobs Fairs, resulting in over 80 job offers, is a testament to the effectiveness of this community-centric approach. The collaborative efforts of the church, community hub, local businesses, and the DWP has resulted in success for both job seekers and employers.

There is no need to book in advance; individuals are encouraged to drop in and explore the opportunities available. This approach ensures that everyone in the community has the chance to participate and benefit. If you are an employer looking for staff, please contact [email protected] as there are still a few limited spaces still for local employers.

Whether you are a job seeker, employer, or community member, this Jobs Fair is a testament to the positive change that can be achieved. Don't miss the chance to be a part of this empowering event on Wednesday, January 24th!
