Pride Flag outside Croydon Town Hall
New Progress LGBT+ Flag Design

June is LGBT+ Pride Month, and it is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the LGBT+ community as a whole, and what they bring to our community in Croydon.

There is no better symbol of the LGBT+ movement than the Pride flag. It is a symbol of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, pride and the social movements. The colour of the flag reflects the diversity of the LGBT+ community.

I am pleased to say that the Croydon Conservatives today donated the remaining £40 required as apart of a fundraiser for a new 'Three Yard Progress Pride Flag', which will be proudly raised outside Croydon Town Hall.

As a Gay Conservative Councillor myself, it is a cause and initiative I am very proud we were able to support!

Happy Pride Month Croydon!
