It has been another busy week as the Borough of Culture continues in Croydon and we showcase new investment in sports facilities across the Borough.

Cllr. Andy Stranack and Cllr. Robert Ward joined with the library team at Selsdon Library this morning (19th May) to try out the new Open+ technology. The new technology allows members to access Selsdon library services between 10am – 6pm on Monday to Friday and 9am-5pm on Saturday.
Mayor Jason Perry joined with Cllr. Andy Stranack (Cabinet Member for Communities and Culture) and over 300 guests from across London to celebrate the launch of ‘This is Croydon’ on 14th March at Box Park.
Cllr Andy Stranack (Cabinet Member for Culture and Communities) joined Rosemary Vizor (Borough Archivist) and Kristian Aspinall (Director of Culture) and the rest of the Library and Archives team as they received provisional accreditation from the National Archive at an event in the Braithwaite Hall

Whilst out on foot patrol on the Ward last Friday, PC De Meneses and PCSO Killian were handed a black holdall by a member of public who had found it on the street.
