Andy with Achives Team

Cllr Andy Stranack (Cabinet Member for Culture and Communities) joined Rosemary Vizor (Borough Archivist) and Kristian Aspinall (Director of Culture) and the rest of the Library and Archives team as they received provisional accreditation from the National Archive at an event in the Braithwaite Hall last week.

“This award demonstrates all the hard work that Rosemary and the team have put in to ensure that Croydon’s social history is well recorded and preserved. It was fascinating to view some of the archive including a land deed dating back to the 15th century.”
