We have been asked to pass on the following information from the Highways Improvement Team:

"We write to remind you that 10 Healthy School Street schemes are expected to launch tomorrow 25 April 2022. These were the same 10 Healthy School Streets, that had to be temporarily paused at the end of February 2022.

This means from tomorrow, motorised vehicles will be prohibited from entering the signed Healthy School Street zone between 8am – 9.30am and 2pm – 4pm, Monday – Friday (during term time only) except for those with a valid exception or permit. For specific queries relating to permits/exemptions please email: [email protected]

The 10 schemes will be in place for a maximum period of 18 months, of the said 18-month period the first 6 months is the objection period. During the 6-month objection period anyone affected by the scheme can write to the council with an objection.

For further information on the Healthy School Street programme or for instructions on how  to take part in the first 6 month statutory objection period click HERE. Please feel free to forward this information on to anyone who may benefit from it."

We have attached documents below that detail our closest schemes which include the maps too.
