Purley Pool

Last night around 70-80 local residents came together to discuss how we could re-open Purley Pool after the Labour Council's decision to never re-open Purley Pool. It was so interesting to hear from long term users who now can't reach other pools, teachers who are seeing children in their class finishing primary school not able to swim and the chairties that relied on the pool. We also had an opportunity to discuss what residents of Purley and local areas want from their district centre.

I also had an opportunity to introduce 2022 candidates Endri Llabuti and Alasdair Stewart to local residents who were able to tell them about important issues in Purley Oaks and Riddlesdown.
