Purley Pool Closure Consultation has started.. please respond

A few days ago I blogged about the threatened permanent closure of Purley Pool. The Council announced that a consultation would start on Monday 11 October; in fact it didn't start till 12 October, and can be accessed here:

Many of us remember a major campaign in 2015 to save Purley Pool and Leisure Centre from the Labour Council that threatened its closure. Following this campaign by local residents, community groups, your councillors and Chris Philp MP, the Pool was saved and thousands of swimmers including children

Sanderstead Recreation Ground Litter Pick

I attended the Sanderstead Recreation Ground Litter Pick with my ward colleague Cllr Helen Redfern.  We have seen a marked difference in the amount of litter dropped in the park which is good to note.
