Old Lodge Lane parade set to be transformed by new 'pocket park'

The parade of shops on Old Lodge Lane, near New Valley school, is set to be transformed from a patch of grass to a new play space, with the design inspired by the school children.

Starting tomorrow (12th February), works will begin week commencing the 12th February 2024 and will continue until April 2024. The footpath will remain accessible during the works.

This improvement comes via the Connecting Kenley project. Kenley residents will see other improvements such as a mural at Old Lodge Land Community Hub, wayfinding signage throughout Kenley such as fingerposts, gateway markers and signage located across the ward to highlight walking routes, iconic locations, entrances to a woodland paths and welcome visitors and residents to Kenley.
