Church Hill

I had a fantastic day attending street parties across Purley & Woodcote visiting Woodside Road, Manor Way, St Mark’s Church Woodcote, Church Hill, and Silver Lane.

My ward colleague, Cllr Holly Ramsey joined me on Silver Lane.

It was great to see so many residents celebrating the Coronation and we were all thankful the weather held. We were offered some lovely treats along the way too.

Holly and I picked up some casework which we will be actioning over the coming days. Photos attached!

Simon, Samir and Holly are hard at work for you in Purley & Woodcote. We deal with about 40 casework items every month, ranging from missed bin collections and social services issues through to children's schooling and of course fighting for local people on planning issues.

WATCH: One Year in Office

Wednesday, 10 May, 2023

Today is the one year anniversary of my election as the first ever Executive Mayor of Croydon.

I will always be grateful for the support that Croydon's voters gave me in that election. I have never taken this support for granted.
