The local councillors have been actively lobbying for the dreadful potholes in Sanderstead Road to be repaired. We are pleased to report that this work is now in progress.
The refurbishment of the tennis courts at Purley Beeches will begin on 29/4 weather permitting. Please note, the work is expected to take 2-3 weeks to complete. Please note that the colour repaint will not take place during this period.
I've received an update from Council officers after pushing them to act urgently to repair the Hartley Hill soakaway and sinkhole.
I have today been told that works will commence on Monday 29th April and this will take 3-4 weeks to complete "subject to no unforeseen circumstances".
Selsdon councillors hold their surgery on the first Saturday of every month except January and August from 10.00 am to 11.15 am. For some time this has been at the Selsdon Centre for the Retired but as from next month this will be at the Jubilee cafe. The cafe is downstairs in the same building.
