Hamsey Green Pond Sign
Hamsey Green Pond Litter

A sign has been put up at Hamsey Green pond asking people visiting to refrain from feeding any wildlife and to take their litter home.  Sadly we are not permitted a dustbin by the council and there is no where to dispose of litter in the grounds.  The recycling centre at the Co-op was recently removed and it is making it quite difficult for residents to recycle and throw unwanted waste away.  Please do take your litter home and dispose of it responsibly and don't leave it in and around the pond.  I am grateful to all the local residents who help with the litter pick along with Mandy and Tim at the tearoom.
