New Addington North Ward Walkaround

Today Cllr Fish and myself had a ward walkaround together with the fantastic local councillor Cllr Adele Benson.

New Addington North has long been neglected, it is fantastic that the fine people of New Addington North now have Cllr Benson who will fight their corner, and stand up for their needs. Fly-tipping and litter were the main issues discussed, and it is sad to see that the Park had so much litter across the playground and surrounding area.

I will work with officers and Adele to ensure this issue is improved as soon as possible.

I attended the Sanderstead Recreation Ground Litter Pick with my ward colleague Cllr Helen Redfern.  We have seen a marked difference in the amount of litter dropped in the park which is good to note.
