Launch of Black History Month in Croydon

Cllr. Andy Stranack (Cabinet Member for Communities and Culture) attended the launch of Black History Month last Friday (30th September) alongside Mayor Perry and other Conservative Councillors and activists. The event took place at Norbury High School, hosted by Croydon BME Forum and showcased talent from across the Black African Caribbean community in Croydon. Black History Month will continue throughout October with a series of events to celebrate the amazing contributions made by African Caribbean individuals and communities which make Croydon such a great place to live now and in the past.
