Tomorrow 16h December we are once again at the Bird Sanctuary in the Glade Old Coulsdon, to clear the fences of undergrowth encroachment on to the pavement and also litter picking.
Everybody is welcome. 10am -12noon. Just bring your own secateurs other equipment is provided.
Ghazala, Lord Roberts on the Green's owner is once again opening up on Christmas Day to provide a free lunch to those who are on their own and without anywhere to go, following the success of last year's luncheon.
It was a pleasure to join in with all the events surrounding ‘A Very Croydon Christmas’ last weekend. Events began on Friday 8th December when I joined the Mayor to meet with Tony Fairweather and visit his amazing display of a ‘Christmas Windrush Front Room’ in the Central Library.

Recently Cllr Kolade and I spent an evening knocking on doors to talk to residents in Oaklands. Oaklands is a lovely estate nestled between Hayes Lane and Park Road. We picked up several items of case work which are progressing through housing repairs.

It has been another enjoyable week as I joined the Mayor, Councillor Yvette Hopley (Cabinet Member for Health and Adult Social Care) and Croydon Council Staff to raise a flag and awareness of International Day of People with Disabilities that took place on the 3rd December.
