Coulsdon Town
  • Councillors

Luke Shortland was elected as Councillor for Coulsdon Town in 2022. He grew up attending a local Coulsdon nursery. One of the things Luke loves about Coulsdon is the real variety of shops in the town centre, with everything from a pottery café (where he got his first Saturday job over seven years ago!) to a candle shop. His main priority is to help Coulsdon be a town where local businesses can not only survive, but thrive. Luke also wants to make sure that new developments are appropriate and aesthetically pleasing. Outside of work and politics, Luke is a bit of a foodie, and loves to travel. Luke’s also been learning German for the last few years, and residents are welcome to help him practise!
