Coulsdon Town
Conservative Chief Whip
  • Councillors

Luke is a proud Croydonian, and has lived here all his life. He still remembers his first ever Saturday job in the pottery studio which is now located in Coulsdon, and believes that it is important to create an environment where small businesses like this can thrive.

Luke was first elected as a Councillor for Coulsdon Town in 2022 and has worked hard for local people ever since.

Luke is active and involved in local issues around local planning, and regularly sits on the Planning committee.

He believes that new developments should be beautiful - protecting the character of the area.

Luke also regularly attends meetings of the Coulsdon Police Ward Panel, where issues around crime can be discussed. These meetings have recently led to a productive police walkabout in Cane Hill to address local concerns, as well as shoplifting patrols in Coulsdon Town Centre.

Our Plan for Coulsdon Town

In October last year, Coulsdon voted massively in favour of change in the Referendum for an elected Mayor for Croydon. On 5th May we have the opportunity to vote in elections that will bring about that change. Let's finish the job.  Over the last eight years Croydon has been run by Labour.
