I, like so many others, had a great time at the the London Road Carnival yesterday.
There was a great atmosphere and an opportunity to catch up with so many community groups and organisations that make Croydon the wonderful place that it is.
It was good to chat with Steve Phaure of the CVA about the fantastic contribution made by the voluntary sector during COVID.
To hear from Superintendent Andy Brittain about his new recruits and how important the police cadets are to the Met.
To meet Deborah again from the BME Forum who is so passionate about helping others out of fuel poverty.
It’s champions like these that make such a difference to our borough.
