It was superb to recently welcome two new businesses to Purley's District Centre.
On a Friday, I popped to Hylton Health Clubs run by Kyle with Simon and Catherine from the Purley BID. This is a brilliant space on a site which was in strong need of development. It’s a state of the art gym, with fancy equipment, reformer pilates, a café and a sauna on its way.
I was really impressed with the space and wish Kyle and team every success! They also have a branch in Purley Way so it’s welcome to see a local business thriving and expanding.
The next day, I was thrilled to join the opening of Constantine & Co with Mayor Perry and Simon and Catherine. Purley’s newest family-run business is a jewellers run by Eva and son, Sol. Eva grew up in Purley and told me that she’d always wanted to have a shop in her hometown. This is such a welcome addition to our High Street with a lovely façade. Their jewellery is stunning and I wish Eva, Sol and their family every success!
It’s fantastic to see two local businesses expressing their confidence in Purley and is another boost for our district centre.
