SPRA Tree Dedication Ceremony

Today Cllr Jason Cummings and myself attended the Spring Park Residents Association 90th Anniversary tree dedication ceremony as local ward councillors.

What a fantastic achievement!

Spring Park Residents association are a fantastic example of how a community group is meant to be run, they have a high level of active members, who always actively stand up for their local community. I am proud to have them within my ward of Shirley South.

An example of their fantastic work and determination, recently they managed to self survey empty tree pits in the area, and it was my pleasure to install new trees in those locations, an incentive I am hoping to replicate as much as possible across Croydon!
