I enjoyed attending the South Woodcote Residents Association (SWRA) AGM last Sunday evening with Chris Philp MP and Sgt Tony Brown from the Purley & Woodcote Safer Neighbourhood Team.
We all spoke about the things we were doing locally and it was good to indulge in a Q&A which covered the Roots Allotment, which we know has caused a lot of upset and anger locally, highways issues and recent planning developments.
The SWRA covers the Woodcote Park Estate (i.e. – the roads adjacent to Smitham Bottom Lane) although they accept members from nearby roads too. They need more members to keep going and their website includes a membership form.
Thank you to the SWRA Committee for all they do to preserve local character and work on behalf of local residents.
