The volunteers at Hamsey Green pond have already started work which is great news. The silt trap for surface water flow into the pond has been cleared which will certainly help with the rainwater collection. Some of the vegetation has also been cleared.
Officers are looking at what type of liner is required for the pond and the volunteers are continuing with their clearance over the week-ends.
