Cllr Redfern & I joined the Sanderstead Recreation Ground litter pick. We were joined by a number of volunteers who work hard to keep the area clean and litter free.
I am pleased to say that on this occasion there was very little litter in the park. We are pleased that most residents are acting responsibly when disposing of their litter.
It was a beautiful morning and the trees now turning to autumn colours looked very beautiful. The volunteers meet at The Hive every second Saturday of the month at 10 am.
Do come and join them if you have time. All equipment is provided.
