The Purley and Coulsdon Clubs for the Elderly (PACE) has been in existence since the 1950s but sadly due to a loss in grant funding, they will be forced to close in September this year, unless they can secure replacement funding.
Based in Purley at the Dorothy Mortby Centre on Landsdowne Road, their services provide a lifeline to elderly residents locally.
PACE is looking for help by either donating, offering to volunteer or help look for funding.
