We’re so pleased to hear that Purley in Bloom has been invited to participate in the exclusive Britain in Bloom competition.
Driven by the Purley Business Improvement District (Purley BID) and by an army of incredible volunteers, Purley is one of only three BIDs in the country to receive this invitation, with Purley in Bloom having won a prestigious gold award last year.
Purley in Bloom has done an incredible job making Purley look prettier and more welcoming, and we are so pleased that they are being recognised for their efforts on both a London and national level.
The Purley in Bloom team meet every Saturday and have secured done so much, including tidying up the area by the underpass towards Tesco and the creation of a mediation garden at Purley Memorial Hospital. To find out more about getting involved, please do email [email protected] .
So many congratulations to all involved and look forward to hearing how the competition goes. Judging for the London in Bloom competition will take place in late June and Britain in Bloom judging will be in August, with the results being notified by the end of the year.
