Back in June, I provided an update on how the HGV ban on Plough Lane is enforced. This blog can be found here.
I’ve received further information from the Purley & Woodcote Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) that they intend to cover this location with the support of an ex-traffic police officer from another part of Croydon.
Officers have advised me that if there is video footage of the offence, then this can be reported online to the roads policing department who will then be able to see if they can take action.
The link to the reporting page can be found here.
It should only take about ten minutes to complete a report, but it should be done in one go, so make sure to have the footage available when you do it. It should also be reported within seven days of it occurring as the police only have 14 days to serve a Notice of Intended Prosecution.
