28 godstone road

A new planning application has been submitted for the Land At 28 Godstone Road Kenley CR8 5JE.

Residents are invited to view the full details of the proposal on the Croydon Council planning portal and to submit any comments they may have before the consultation deadline, which is 31st December 2025.

Planning applications are an important stage in shaping our local area, and residents’ feedback is considered as part of the decision-making process.

The proposal would significantly impact the green and leafy character of Godstone Road by removing a large number of established trees and replacing a natural, sloping site with intensive built development. Due to the steep levels, the buildings would be particularly tall at the rear overlooking Lower Road, leading to an overbearing appearance and unacceptable impact on neighbours’ outlook, privacy, and residential amenity. It is important that residents are aware of the details and have the opportunity to share their views.

We encourage everyone to look at the full application online via the Croydon Council planning portal, and to submit comments before the consultation deadline. Resident feedback is an essential part of the process, ensuring that local voices are heard in decisions that shape our community.
