Jobs Fair at Old Lodge Lane Baptist Church

Great news! Old Lodge Lane Baptist Church is hosting another Jobs Fair on Wednesday 9th April 2025, from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm—and if past events are anything to go by, it’s one you won’t want to miss!

It will take place at Old Lodge Lane Baptist Church, Reedham Park Avenue, Purley, CR8 4BQ, in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions and Purley Job Centre.

At the last Jobs Fair, 68 people walked away with job offers, proving just how much of a game-changer these events have become. In fact, they’ve been so successful that the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) has taken notice and is now rolling out this community-based model in other areas!

So, what makes these Jobs Fairs different? It’s more than just handing out CVs. Employers, training providers, support services, and charities will all be under one roof, offering full-time, part-time, and voluntary roles, as well as help for those looking to get back into work.

It’s a real community effort, with the church, community hub, local businesses, the council, and the DWP all working together to connect job seekers with the right opportunities. For any employers looking to recruit, contact https://ollbc.org.uk/contact/

No need to book—just drop in and see what’s on offer! This is a fantastic chance to be part of something that’s truly making a difference.

Mark your calendars for 9th April—you never know where it might lead!

The Church has asked for wide promotion of this event, so please do let your friends and family know about it.
