New Barn Lane footbridge

I’m pleased to share that the footbridge on New Barn Lane has recently been cleaned and tidied, with graffiti removed, following reports raised with the council. This follows action taken on Little Roke Footbridge and Stumps Lane.

After being alerted to concerns about the condition of the bridge, including the build-up of debris, we logged the issue and asked for it to be addressed. I’m glad to say that the council has now carried out a clean-up, making the route much more pleasant and accessible for residents. I also reported graffiti on the bridge which was swiftly removed in less than 12 hours after reporting it.

Footbridges like this are an important part of Kenley’s network of walking routes, and keeping them well maintained helps ensure they remain safe and enjoyable for everyone.

As ever, if you notice areas that need attention, please do report them via the LoveCleanStreets app, or get in touch with us and we’ll be happy to help raise it on your behalf.
