I was delighted to be able to attend the launch of the Memory Lane Dementia Garden at Croydon University Hospital. So many people have worked so hard to bring about this important place for people with dementia, staff and family to enjoy. The flowers were beautiful and the added bonus of the covered seating was really beautifully designed. I am grateful to all concerned who brought about this important space, which sits just outside the Acute Care of the Elderly ward at CUH. The choir was great - one lady was singing all the way down the corridor on her way home - what a delight.
