The roadworks top and bottom of Marlpit Lane are finally being reinstated and the traffic lights were switched on again this morning having been switched off last night causing havoc as part of the road was single file.

The contractor assigned by SGN had not turned up at the site since Thursday last week and despite numerous calls  and emails to  Highways it has taken 5 days  for reinstatement  works to continue.
