I enjoyed attending the Purley BID litter pick which takes place, on average once a quarter, where I joined BID stalwarts, Simon and Catherine as well as Purley in Bloom volunteers who are gearing up for the upcoming London in Bloom and Britain in Bloom competitions!
It was also fab to meet Jonathan, who is originally from Purley but lives in California. Jonathan runs the Postcard to Purley Instagram account and helps out whenever he is back in Purley. Thank you, Jonathan.
I'm excited for the competitions and am confident Purley will put in a good show. Simon, Catherine and the volunteers are doing fantastic work in making Purley a cleaner, brighter and more inviting area.
