Every year (subject of course to the weather!) there's a ceremonial flyby of WW2 aircraft at Kenley Airfield. It takes place on the closest weekend to 18th August 1940 to commemorate the "hardest day" when Kenley suffered its worst attack of the whole war, right in the middle of the Battle of Britain. This year a Spitfire and Hurricane will be flying over at about 1:00pm & 1:30pm on Saturday 14th August - don't miss them!
