I visited Daffodil House on Sanderstead Road this week to talk to staff and residents about this new home. I am pleased that they are looking forward to being involved in the local Sanderstead community and welcome the opportunity to connect with residents and neighbours in the months ahead.
Quo Vadis Trust (QVT) is a South East London charity providing social housing, care and support to adults living with mental health needs, guided by a mission of supporting recovery, maximising independence and building community. In September 2025, QVT opened Daffodil House, a new 24 hour supported living service in the Sanderstead area in South Croydon. Commissioned by Croydon Council and delivered in partnership with South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, the service offers 46 self-contained studio flats across two schemes, for adults aged 18 and over with challenged with enduring mental health needs.
Clients typically stay for up to two years, working with our team on a personalised recovery plan to build confidence, practical skills and independence, from managing medication and budgeting to cooking and maintaining a tenancy. They're also encouraged to take part in activities such as cooking sessions, coffee mornings and health workshops, helping reduce isolation and build a sense of purpose. Daffodil House is led by an experienced housing management team.
