Croydons Dog Warden and friend

Croydon Councils Dog Warden Tara Boswell has won yet another award the RSPCA Hero Award. This is the 7th year in a row Tara has won a RSPCA award

The work she does with stray, abandoned and dangerous dogs is phenomenal

She also holds community events throughout the year that include advice, Heath checks and free microchipping and dog tags. Contact [email protected] for an event near you

She is on duty weekdays 7am to 3 pm on 020 8726 6000 select option three for waste services then option 4 for other environmental services

Out of hours hold the line to be put through to the emergency control room

This is a hugely demanding role and sadly the neglect and cruelty she sees is increasing

My lovely dog was a stray picked up by her service that no one claimed. He lives happily with me now.

We are so lucky in Croydon to have someone as dedicated and committed and compassionate as Tara.
