Road resurfacing

In July we wrote about the Coulsdon centre resurfacing works we have been calling for for a long time. This is a quick update.

The civil works have been completed in the town centre two days earlier than scheduled.

What is in place is a temporary surface to allow the traffic to resume as normal.

Due to the logistics of programming the resurfacing and also resources, the Council have been unable to schedule the resurfacing earlier than planned as per their communication letter to local residents and businesses.

The resurfacing of the carriageway will be implemented 18th-20th August and will involve road closure for two nights.

We will continue to provide updates as and when information becomes available.
