Brick by Brick... and then there were two!

On Monday at Full Council I asked Cllr Alison Butler about the number of directors which have resigned from the Board of Brick by Brick. At the time according to Companies House, of 9 appointed Directors, just 3 were left. Clearly there will be genuine reasons for Directors resigning, but it seemed odd that they weren’t being replaced. I got a waffly reply from Cllr Butler which didn’t really say much at all.

I then suggested that having just 3 Directors managing a debt of some £260 million of public money  was woefully inadequate and that this situation should be ringing alarm bells with her. It now turns out that in fact another Director had resigned leaving just 2 Directors on the Brick by Brick Board.

Surely Cllr Butler must now be taking some notice.
