Archbishop Lanfranc Academy - Celebration

I attended the evening of entertainment dinner at Archbishop Lanfranc Academy organised by Ashok Kumar who has raised over £28,000 for good causes.  It was a family occasion with entertainment provided by students of Indian Classical Dance and music.  As well as acknowledging the fantastic charitable work the event included a celebration of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.  It was great to meet so many community leaders and fellow councillors.  The children were absolutely amazing and the dancing and singing was most enjoyable.  Such talent.  My congratulations to everyone and many thanks for the hospitality.

I would like to thank every single Croydonian who put their trust in me at this election. I am so proud to have been elected Mayor of this great Borough. It was also fantastic to see the local Conservatives secure some fantastic new gains on the Council, including in Waddon and New Addington.
