Coulsdon Sewage Issues

Sewage on CVR

For months now there has been repeated issues with sewage leaking at various points along the length of Chipstead Valley Road. 

Local councillors have been doing our best to push Thames Water, Croydon Council and all relevant authorities to rectify this in the long-term.

We have just been informed that on their latest visit to Chipstead Valley Road that the Thames Water cleaning crew were subjected to both verbal and physical abuse. The decision was taken by Thames Water to remove the team for their own safety.

Local residents have informed me that there is a sewage leak flowing outside Pizza Express in Coulsdon. It appears to be coming from the bin store of the flats immediately above the restaurant. I have alerted the Council urgently to this, as well as Thames Water.
