Croydon is back on track - let’s keep it going.
Croydon Conservatives are pleased to announce our prospective candidates for the 2026 Council elections.
This election will decide who continues the hard work of rebuilding our borough, supporting our communities, and keeping Croydon on the path of renewal. Under Elected Mayor Jason Perry, Croydon has finally stabilised its finances, begun restoring cleaner and safer streets, attracted more than £1.2bn of inward investment, reformed the planning system to protect green spaces, and launched major regeneration projects across our towns and district centres.
Elected Mayor Jason Perry and Croydon Conservative Federation Chairman Cllr Lynne Hale said:
“Since 2022 we have worked relentlessly to clean up the mess left behind by Labour: stabilising Croydon’s finances after their bankruptcy; tackling crime and antisocial behaviour with a zero-tolerance approach; improving street cleaning with targeted blitz cleans; securing the future of our parks and green spaces; and driving long-overdue investment back into our borough.
But there is more to do. Croydon is finally heading in the right direction - and this team will help keep it going. Our candidates share the aspiration to restore pride in every community, deliver regeneration that works for local people, and ensure the days of waste and failure under Labour never return.
Don’t just hope for a better Croydon - let’s keep building one.”
