Windsor Road Sign
Windsor Road

Thornton Heath is currently used as an escape route for traffic from London Road, which forces large amounts of cars through the area.

In particular, Windsor Road & Apostle Way are used to escape Green Lane and Parchmore Road. This is especially dangerous as Windsor Road contains a local school. We are calling on Croydon Council to take action and hold a community consultation, asking local people how they feel this problem should be addressed.

We the undersigned agree with local candidates Folarin Bamgbopa, Richard Harris & John Tipton that Croydon Council must take action to improve traffic flow in Thornton Heath. The Council should hold a community consultation and listen to residents' views on how to increase safety on Windsor Road.

Bird Sanctuary The Glade.

Saturday, 15 April, 2023
Thank you to the regulars that attended the Bird Sanctuary clean up this morning. We were lucky the sun came out. Today was litter picking again although it was more like clearing flytipping along the path towards St John's!

The encampment found has been dismantled.
