 South Norwood

Your Conservative Councillors for South Norwood are:

 Our pledges for South Norwood

The people of Croydon returned a Conservative council in May 2010. In South Norwood we promised to:

Ensure that, at a minimum, we match Lambeth’s current contribution to the Upper Norwood Joint Library, continuing the Conservative commitment to the library

Conduct a master-planning exercise of South Norwood district centre to encourage investment and facilitate a vibrant business community; and develop a Town Centre Strategy for the Crystal Palace Triangle to assist delivery of a cinema

Continue to make improvements to our parks and open spaces that all residents can enjoy

Protect the character of South Norwood by resisting insensitive development; and support the restoration of Norwood Junction station so that it is sympathetic to the Conservation Area

Continue to report progress to improve South Norwood on our website and in literature paid for and distributed by your local Conservative Action Team
