 Norbury

Your Conservative Councillors for Norbury are:

 Our pledges for Norbury

The people of Croydon returned a Conservative council in May 2010. In Norbury we promised to:

Work tirelessly to make Norbury a cleaner, safer, greener place to live

Combat fly-tipping by ensuring that professional tippers’ vans are crushed and taking firm action against anyone caught tipping (and dealing quickly with the rubbish)

Pilot a programme to educate dog owners to clean up after their dogs, in addition issue ‘doggy bags’ to local residents

Work closely with the police to combat anti-social behaviour and to reduce the fear of crime by lobbying for a greater police presence

Hold weekly surgeries (to be reviewed after 6 months)to enable us to listen to local residents; in addition we will also publish a quarterly newsletter outlining our achievements and highlighting local issues

Protect and promote London Road, Norbury, as a diverse and successful District Centre
