Our pledges for Woodside
The people of Croydon returned a Conservative council in May 2010. In Woodside we promised to:
Help the community kick-start the regeneration of Portland Road
Seek to ensure public access to Love Lane Green, a long-term ambition in the area
Work with the community to oversee the improvements to South Norwood Country Park, funded by its position as one of Croydon’s ‘Parks to be Proud Of’
Oppose overdevelopment in Woodside - we objected strongly to the proposed Beehive Pub development
Support and encourage local businesses
