Vidhi Mohan was born in India and has lived in Croydon since 2000. He works for one of the UK's largest engineering companies as a consultant with the transport industry, advising both public and private sector clients on the feasibility, funding and implementation of transport schemes. A Councillor since 2005, Vidhi is currently the Cabinet Member for Communities and Economic Development. He is a Governor at Park Hill Infant School and was previously on the Board of Croydon College. In his spare time Vidhi enjoys watching and playing sport, especially cricket.
Helen Pollard has been a Councillor since 2006. She represented Heathfield ward from 2006 to 2010 and was elected as a Councillor for Fairfield ward in 2014. Married, and with two children, Helen is a firm believer in the delivery of good quality public services but also believes that they should be run efficiently to ensure the council tax payer gets value for money.
Helen regularly attends meetings of resident associations, councillor surgeries and handles ad hoc casework as it arises. She has experience of sitting on Licencing and Planning Committees and is a governor of John Ruskin College. She was a governor of the Quest Academy from 2010 to 2014.
In May 2016 Helen was appointed Shadow Cabinet Member for Culture, Leisure and Sport.
Helen is a marketing professional with experience in the insurance industry and education and her interests include playing tennis, the arts, and spending time at home with her family.
Susan has lived in Croydon all her life and is a retired Civil Servant. She is married to Alan and has a son and two grandchildren. She has been a Councillor for Fairfield Ward since 2006 and is a former Waddon Councillor. She was Deputy Mayor in 2010 and currently serves on the Planning Committee and the Licensing Committee She regularly walks around her ward dealing with issues which concern her Constituents such as graffiti, pot holes, rubbish and fly tipping. She feels regular doorstep contact with residents is vital. Susan is a member of several local heritage organisations in Croydon and is a volunteer in a local school. Susan is also a co-ordinator for the Neighbourhood Watch Association and member of the Fairfield Safer Neighbourhood Ward Panel.
